Villa Beranda is a new-built balinese house surrounded by a tropical garden, near the beach in Lovina, North Bali. The perfect place for your dream holiday. The villa is designed so that you can experience the authentic Balinese atmosphere. The open living room and the large veranda on the first floor allow you to feel the breeze coming from the sea and the scents of the garden and the surrounding fields.During your stay at villa Beranda friendly and hospitable staff will be at your service. FACILITIES

BEDROOMS:The villa has 2 big bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, air conditioning, satellite TV, DVD, and king size beds. They are big enough to have an additional bed for kids, so the total capacity of the villa is 4 adults and 2 children. The private bathrooms have a big wardrobe with a safety box.KITCHEN & DINNING ROOMA fully equipped kitchen is separated from the dinning room by a bar. The dinning room is open and connects directly with the deck and the swimming pool. There is a big fan on the roof to make the air move and create a refreshing atmosphere.SWIMMING POOL & TERRACEA beautifully shaped swimming pool will enable you to refresh yourself any time. It has attached a smaller pool for the kids and is surrouded by a deck with sunbeds.GAZEBOA typical balinese construction the gazebo is very good to spend the hottest hours of the day relaxing by the pool or even having a good "siesta".VERANDAIt is the signature facility of the villa. 100m2 of veranda in the first floor will offer you fantastic views over the surrounding fields. It's fully furnished with sofas to relax,a hammock, a pool table and a mini bar.TROPICAL GARDEN1500 m2 of well manteined tropical garden surround the villa.In it you will enjoy the beuty and scent of all kind of tropical flowers and trees, including the most typical of all that produces the famous balinese flower "jepun".

STAFF AND SERVICES

STAFFThe villa has 3 staff working full time in it: a housekeeper, a gardener and a security guard. Their only job is to take care of the villa and the guests.CLEANING and COOKINGOur housekeeper will clean the villa, do the laundry and prepare delicious meals. She will arrive every day at 8 am to prepare the breakfast and will leave at 5pm.She can also arrange the transport to anywhere in Bali and book tourist activities. She will act as a personal assistant for our guests during their stay. SECURITYAt 6pm every day our security guard will arrive at the villa and will stay throughout the night until 6am in the security postat the entrance. If the guests need anything they can always call him for help.INTERNETThe rental price includes free WIFI internet service. We also have a netbook in the villa that can be used by the guests.SATELLITE TVIn the villa you will have access to many international news and entertainment channels such as the BBC, Euronews, Australia network, Comedy, ... and also some channels with cartoons for the kids.BALINESE MASSAGEWe can offer the typical balinese massage in the villa.It will be performed by a local massagist who will come to the villa on request. The price is around 8 euros per hour.

TRANSPORTIf you require transportation, you can ask the staff of the villa to arrange it for you.They can get a car with a driver via the local taxi organisation of the village. These drivers can be also your local guides, as they know the nicest places to visit.There is also local transport on Bali, but it runs very irregular. There are minibuses, called "bemos" driving on the main road along the north coast; they usually have a blue colour. If you walk along the main road you can sign with your hand to stop them. With a bemo-ride you are able to go to Lovina or Singaraja for a very small amount (approx €0.8). Please notice that the bemos only ride during the day till 6pm.It is also possible to rent a car or scooter yourselves. LOCATION_N Villa Beranda is in a neighbourhood next to the sandy beach of Dencarik, a small town in LOVINA, North Bali. It is in a quiet area surrounded by rice fields and vineyards. Ideal for relax, honeymoons, families, kids...The North Bali coast is relatively calm and quiet. The sea is peaceful and has no currents or big waves, which enables you to practice many kinds of water sports safely, such as snorkeling, fishing, swimming, dolphin watching, diving or simply boating along the coast. The local fishermen will happily take you with their boat to do any of these activities. Unlike the busy, crowded, and overpowering tourist area of Kuta or Seminyak, north Bali offers a more quiet and calmer scene. Another good think of north Bali are the prices, usually quite cheaper than in the south. At only 5km from the villa you will find the tourist center with lots of shops, restaurants...In the map below you can see the exact position of the villa. The blue line indicates the access to the beach which is only at 60m. You can use the signs "+" and "-" to zoom in and out.

Dolphins

Watching wild dolhins in the sea

Lovina is well known for the dolphins, which can be admired during a boat trip. Every morning many fishermen with tourists aboard leave Lovina in search for dolphins. Due to the large population of shrimps living in the sea near Lovina, the chance that you will see these animals is 80%. Many times the boats are surrounded by dozens of dolphins jumping and playing. It is usually sufficient to make an arrangement with a fisherman 1 day in advance. You also can ask the staff or a driver to make arrangements for the next day. They will pick you up just before 06.00am, the boat trip will last around 2 hours and the price will be approximately €8 per person. We highly recommend you to go on this trip, as it is definitely worth it.

Swimming with dolphins and dolphin show

In hotel Melka, located just outside Lovina at the road to Singaraja, you can swim with Dolphins. For both children and adults they offer the opportunity to swim/play with Dolphins for 20 minutes in one of their saltwater pools. They also cater for daily shows. Diving

In Lovina you will find the famous 5 star diving school, Spice Dive. Also in Seririt (only 10 minutes away) you will find a new diving school, Blue Season Bali, which is located in the Zen Resort Bali. At both schools, you can join one of the many (PADI) dive courses they offer or book a dive trip to the best diving sites on Bali such as Menjangan (beautiful coral reef) and Tulamben (the famous Liberty Wreck near the coast).

Snorkelling

Spice Dive and Blue Season Bali organise also very nice snorkelling trips to several places such as to the island of Menjangan, which is a beautiful snorkelling spot just 1 hours drive away! Snorkelling at Menjangan Island is also very easy with children as you can snorkel right from the beach of the island. We highly recommend this trip; you will be surprised of the beautiful white sand, clear waters and lots of colourful fish! You can also snorkel just off the coast of the villa. On the left side you see a small reef of coral with a lot of nice fishes. Of course you can also arrange a trip on your own to go snorkelling at the Island of Menjangan. You can arrange a driver to take you there, the drive takes about 1 hour to the Mimpi Resort (located just after Pemuteran) and the boat trip takes 30 minutes. The driver will make arrangements for the boat crossing, including a snorkel instructor. You can rent snorkel gear at the Mimpi Resort on arrival.

The villa has a pool table in the veranda. Next to it there is a mini-bar furniture, so you can enjoy the pool game while have a drink or a snack and listening to your favorite music. The pool table is well illuminated at night so it's a good choice to spend a relaxing evening in the villa.

The villa has also a ping pong table in the garden, in the middle of the banana trees, which provide some shadow so you can play any time.A good entertaiment to do some exercise and sweat a bit. After that you can always refresh yourself in the swimming pool.

Hiking in Mayong

The beautiful landscape of Mayong is only a 20 minutes drive away from the villa. There you will find many rice-fields and plantations (coffee, cacao and vanilla) and it is a beautiful area for hiking. We recommend that you hire a guide to join you on your hike as they will be able to show you the best spots. These tours are also very nice and suitable for children. Hiking in the waterfalls

Near the villa are several waterfalls, such as the Munduk waterfall and the Aling Aling waterfall. Approximately 30 minutes south of Singaraja is the most spectacular waterfall of Bali, the Git Git waterfall. A path of about 1 km with a variety of souvenir shops leads you past a coffee and a vanilla plantation to the 60-metre-high waterfall. Once you have arrived at the waterfall, you can enjoy the sounds of the water splashing downwards. These "hot springs" are located in the hills of the village of Banjar and are surrounded by beautiful scenery. The 38° C hot sulphurous source ends at eight carved dragonheads. Buddhist monastery

In the hills of Banjar, about 15 minutes away from your villa, the Buddhist monastery, Brahma Vihara Arama, is located. This is the only Buddhist monastery in Bali. The monastery is spread over several layers and has special walls and rooms for prayer. It is also known as the small Borobodur. Some Balinese Buddhist monks inhabit the monastery. From the hill on which the monastery is located, you have a beautiful view of the area and the sea. In Bedugul, at about 1 hour drive from the villa, you find a beautiful 18-hole golf course called "Bali Handara Kosaido Country Club. This golf course is among the top-5 courses in Asia and is designed by the renowned architect Peter Thompson. Conditions

- Arrival and departure: unless an specific arrangement has been made with you, the villa is at your disposal from 2pm onwards on the day of arrival, and you are kindly requested to leave the villa before 12am (noon) on the day of departure- Extra beds: there are 2 extra beds for kids that can be placed in each roon on request.- Welcome package: The rental rate includes a welcome package, that is, the first dinner and breakfast and some other food and drink items.- Meals: the rental rate doesn't include the meals. Our houskeeper can buy the groceries for you and prepare the meals. You will have to give her some money to buy the food and she will return the change and a receipt. This service has a small surcharge of €0.8 for gasoline.- Laundry: the villa has a modern washing machine at your disposal. Our housekeeper can do the laundry for you.This is a service included in the rental rate, you only will have to pay for the detergent.- Reservations: To book simply go to the "book-contact" section and fill the form. To confirm your reservation we will request you to pay 40% of the price. The rest of the amount must be paid 6 weeks prior the arrival.- Payment: rental payment is made by bank transfer. If you are already in Bali or Indonesia when you book you can pay with cash and deposit the money to our bank account in Bali- Tourist tax: In Bali it is required to register yourselves at the tourist police. The cost is €3 per person. The day after your arrival our staff will collect your passport to do this procedure for you.- Surcharges: Apart from the mentioned above there are no surcharges whatsoever.
